  • Medzilla.com -- job listings plus useful articles and online forums for job seekers in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, healthcare, and science

National/international service programs (paid opportunities) to consider:

  • AmeriCorps VISTA – a national service program to fight poverty by serving one year with a nonprofit or government agency that you choose: living allowance, health care, cash or education grant at end (search for program openings by state or do “Advanced Opportunity Search”)
  • Peace Corps – serve your country and the cause of peace by living and working for two years in a developing country
